How To Open Scooter Seat
Seeking help for possible sequence of 3D animation for 11
quick links: http://tinyurl.com/yg27a88
In the six DVD dedicated to Apollo 16 Spacecraft Films is a beautiful 3D animation that flies over the landing zone and shows very clearly the geography, distances and places visited by astronauts during their lunar excursions.
would be nice, and very enlightening to the public, include something in Moonscape , for example during the opening credits.
Below you can see a piece of animation of the Spacecraft Films. The original is in color and with music: the monster here silent and black and white to stay within the limits of the right to quote.
If you are willing to create something similar, let's talk in the comments below, I can pay you for your work, if it is accepted .
should:
is not essential, but it would be nice, do the rendering in position of the astronauts and the lunar module (LM there are digital models of possibly exploitable), to give a sense of the scale of the place.
The sequence I have in mind (being improved and modified) is a continuous zoom vertical shot of the full moon, taken from a real recovery until the Sea of \u200b\u200bTranquillity, then glide to the place of landing with a flight over the horizontal for esempio seguendo la traiettoria effettiva dell'Apollo 11 (di cui ho i dati) e infine girare intorno alla zona di allunaggio a distanza ravvicinata per far vedere la zona circostante in tutte le direzioni.
Come suggerito da Namuris, c'รจ una discussione molto interessante su quest'argomento presso UnmannedSpaceflight.com . From this discussion point out the video of Jens Meyer / Steve Albers, who managed to extract topographic data (do not know if elevation) by Kaguya and apply them to the database software Celestia:
E 'image of the area available for the Apollo 11 lunar landing spacecraft taken by the LRO with the sun beating down, so it does not contain shadows that disturb and reveals very fine changes in albedo. I wonder if you can use as textures.
The picture (250 megabyte) is downloadable here .

should:
- acquiring altimeter data of the Apollo 11 moon landing zone (0.6741 ° N latitude, longitude 23.4730 ° E);
- create a 3D model;
- apply a texture inspired by the colors of the photos best available orbital (which could be those of the Apollo 15 or the Clementine probe, Kaguya, or LRO), or is the pictures themselves, if the shape and direction of the shadows are compatible, as noted in the comments;
- animate the whole.
